Berkshire's "Advanced Engineering Consultants" has ordered a new S-76C++ for what it calls "public and private" transport use in the U.K. The company says that safety and cabin comfort were two factors in the acquisition decision.

Steve Ayling of Lynton Aviation Aircraft Sales, the Sikorsky sales representative within the U.K. now in its 27th year as a distributor, says: "The company currently operates an S-76A+ and this will be the first time that they have purchased a new delivery Sikorsky helicopter. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2008."
