CAE adds four simulators across the Americas
CAE has brought four additional full-flight simulators online in the Americas, covering the Bombardier Global 6500, Embraer Praetor 600, Pilatus PC-24 and Cessna Citation CJ4.

Four additional full-flight simulators are qualified and delivering training at CAE’s Orlando Lake Nona training centre in Florida, adding capacity for the Bombardier Global 6500, Embraer Praetor 600, Pilatus PC-24 and Cessna Citation CJ4.

The PC-24 is the only aircraft type among the four being offered through CAE’s Americas training network for the first time. CAE also offers PC-24 training in Vienna, Praetor 600 training at Dallas West and Global 6500 training in Montreal.

CAE confirms that the four devices add capacity rather than replace existing sims. The additions are part of its broader focus on aligning its global training network with customer and fleet demand.

Alexandre Prevost, CAE’s president, Civil Aviation, says: “As business aviation demand grows, CAE is strengthening its global training network to meet operators’ evolving needs.”

FlightSafety International also provides PC-24 pilot and maintenance training in Dallas, Texas, and identifies itself as the aircraft’s factory-authorised training provider.

CAE has nearly doubled its business aviation training capacity compared with a decade ago. Its global business aviation training network includes more than 130 full-flight sims and approximately 1,000 instructors worldwide, delivering more than 300,000 hours of training annually. The network spans pilot and maintenance training across different aircraft categories and leading OEM platforms.

CAE’s Aviation Talent Forecast projects a need for 102,000 new business aviation professionals worldwide by 2034, including 33,000 pilots and 69,000 maintenance technicians.
