Ten FlightSafety International (FSI) specialty training courses are now eligible for NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) credit.

The NBAA CAM programme recognises qualified aviation professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience needed to lead flight departments and companies that operate business aircraft.

FlightSafety executive vice president of Learning Center operations Ben Carter says: “FlightSafety is proud to support aviation professionals pursuing the CAM credential with specialty training courses that build knowledge, strengthen proficiency and promote continuous professional development.”

International Procedures Initial carries two CAM credits, while General Emergency Training and International Procedures Recurrent each carry one credit.

Corporate Aviation Security, Crew Resource Management Initial & Recurrent (CRM) Airplane, Cold Weather Operations Icing Initial & Recurrent, ICAO Performance Based Navigation (PBN), Meteorology Fundamentals, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Warm Weather Operations Initial & Recurrent each carry a quarter CAM credit.

The specialty training courses are available through LiveLearning, self-paced eLearning and in-centre instruction.
