Arkansas Children’s Hospital enrols Angel One in ACSF ASAP
Two Sikorsky S-76D helicopters supporting Arkansas Children's Angel One transport operations have been enrolled in ACSF’s confidential ASAP reporting programme.

Arkansas Children's Hospital's Angel One Transport has joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation's (ACSF) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), extending confidential incident reporting to its aeromedical helicopter operations.

Angel One Transport operates two Sikorsky S-76D helicopters, providing critical paediatric transport across Arkansas and the surrounding region. Through ASAP, aviation personnel gain a voluntary, confidential and non-punitive channel for reporting potential safety concerns, feeding into a wider framework aimed at identifying trends and refining procedures and training.

Steven Rushin, CMTE, director of aviation operations at Angel One Transport, says: “Participating in the ACSF ASAP programme gives our team another valuable way to identify potential risks, learn from everyday operations and continue strengthening the safety culture that supports our patients, crews and aviation operations.”

Debi Carpenter, president of the Air Charter Safety Foundation, adds: “Organisations that encourage employees to speak up and share safety information create opportunities to learn and improve.”

ASAP reports are handled through ACSF's third-party administration, which provides an established and independent reporting framework designed to support collaboration and continuous safety improvement across participating operators.
