Crewchief MX integrates Flyparts parts ordering tool
Technicians can search, locate and order parts from within an open work order, removing the need to switch to separate procurement tools.

Crewchief Systems has integrated Flyparts.com into Crewchief MX, its maintenance management platform for aviation shops and MROs. The integration lets technicians and shop managers search, locate and order parts directly from within an open work order, removing the need to leave the platform or manage procurement through separate tools.

The integration draws on Flyparts' marketplace and its network of integrated suppliers, putting over two million parts within reach of an open work order. For shop teams managing scheduled inspections, squawks or component replacements, parts can be sourced without interrupting the maintenance workflow or duplicating admin work. Crewchief says it is the first maintenance management platform to offer parts ordering from inside a work order.

Aaron de Zafra, CEO at Crewchief Systems, says: “No other maintenance management platform gives technicians the ability to order parts from inside a work order. We built Crewchief MX to be the single place where shop teams manage every aspect of aircraft maintenance, and adding Flyparts makes that promise more complete.”

The integration is aimed at cutting the friction between maintenance and procurement, with certification documentation such as 8130s designed to flow directly into the maintenance record without manual entry between systems.
