Altus to expand Hamptons support during U.S. Open
Dedicated maintenance coverage has been arranged at Westhampton Beach ahead of an expected rise in business aviation activity during the U.S. Open tennis championship.
The company has combined on-airport support with nearby maintenance capacity to handle higher traffic volumes.

Altus Aerospace will provide dedicated aircraft maintenance support for operators flying into Westhampton Beach Airport (KFOK) during the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.

The company will deliver on-field technical response, AOG support, troubleshooting and line maintenance services throughout the June 18-21 tournament period as aviation traffic increases across the region.

Positioned to support aircraft operating into the Hamptons, Altus Aerospace will assist business aviation operators, charter providers and private aircraft owners requiring immediate maintenance support while travelling to and from one of the summer season's busiest destinations.

Available services include aircraft-on-ground response and troubleshooting, line maintenance, technical support, rapid diagnostics, maintenance coordination and operational support from factory-trained technicians.

“The U.S. Open brings a substantial increase in business aviation activity to the region,” says Dan Swerdlow, business development manager at Altus Aerospace. “Our goal is to provide operators with immediate, reliable maintenance support to help keep aircraft moving safely and efficiently during a high-demand operating period.”

Operators requiring more extensive maintenance support will also have access to Altus Aerospace's facility at Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), which offers scheduled maintenance services, private ramp access and maintenance coordination.
