Three Textron Aviation employees have received industry honours during the 2026 NBAA-BACE. Cameron Harris, director, parts sales, West US and Latin America, and Brandon Doramus, general manager of Textron Aviation's New York service centre, were selected for NBAA's 40 Under 40 programme, which recognises emerging leaders helping shape the future of business aviation.

Stuart Rogerson, chief pilot, safety, standardisation and training, received the NBAA Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award, which honours individuals who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, leadership and commitment to aviation safety. Together, their recognitions reflect the many ways Textron Aviation employees are advancing the industry through customer support, maintenance excellence and safety leadership.

Cameron Harris comments: “I am truly honoured by this award. From catching the aviation bug during my first flight in a Cessna 172 to building my career at Textron Aviation, it's been an incredible journey. Helping customers succeed by bringing talented teams together to solve complex challenges is deeply rewarding, especially knowing our work keeps customers flying.”

Harris joined Textron Aviation through an internship in 2017 and has since built a career focused on connecting customers with solutions and helping teams navigate complex challenges. Today, he leads a regional parts sales team that supports operators throughout the western United States and Latin America, helping customers minimise downtime and maintain aircraft availability.

NBAA recognised Harris in the Sales category of its 40 Under 40 programme for his leadership, customer-focused approach and contributions to the future of business aviation. His career reflects how strong customer relationships and strategic problem-solving can create lasting value across the industry.

Brandon Doramus says: “Being recognised among so many gifted and talented professionals who contribute to the success and advancement of business aviation is an honour. What I find most rewarding about my career is seeing team members grow, gain confidence and build new skills. When they recognise the role they play in keeping customers flying and delivering the experience people expect from Textron Aviation, that's when the job becomes really rewarding.”

A Wichita native who grew up around aviation, Doramus now leads Textron Aviation's New York service centre, where he oversees operations that support customers and help ensure aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently. Throughout his career, he has championed workforce development, safety management system advancement and a culture where employees can learn, grow and take ownership of customer success.

NBAA selected Doramus for its 40 Under 40 programme in the Maintenance category, recognising his contributions to operational excellence and the next generation of aviation professionals. His leadership demonstrates how investing in people drives better outcomes for teams, customers and the industry alike.

Stuart Rogerson states: “I am honoured and humbled to be selected for this award. I have dedicated much of my aviation career to advancing flight safety, and I am grateful for the opportunities I've had to contribute to making our industry safer. This recognition reflects the commitment of many mentors, colleagues and teammates who have shared that mission. I am fortunate to work for an organisation that strongly supports a culture of safety and empowers us to continuously learn, improve and make a positive difference.”

Across every flight operation, professionalism and safety depend on a commitment to continuous learning and disciplined decision-making. Those principles have defined Stuart Rogerson's aviation career.

As chief pilot, safety, standardisation and training for Textron Aviation's engineering and defence flight test team, Rogerson leads flight test safety approvals, safety management systems initiatives, risk mitigation efforts and aircrew training while continuing to serve as an active test pilot and department instructor.

His career spans military and civilian aviation, including 20 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force and key leadership roles supporting Textron Aviation flight test programmes. Through mentorship, training and safety advocacy, Rogerson has helped strengthen the practices and culture that support safe flight operations.

The NBAA Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award recognises individuals whose careers demonstrate exceptional professionalism, leadership and dedication to aviation safety. Rogerson's selection reflects both his personal commitment to those principles and his lasting impact on those he mentors and supports.

While their careers have followed different paths, their achievements reflect a shared commitment to supporting customers, strengthening safe and reliable operations and helping move business aviation forward.
