Elliott launches limited-time credits on G5000 upgrades for 560XL
Limited-time avionics programme offers up to $125,000 in savings for Citation XLS+ operators as Elliott Aviation accelerates G5000 retrofit adoption ahead of upcoming compliance-driven upgrade cycle.
The Garmin G5000 upgrade delivers a modernised flight deck, including touchscreen controllers, synthetic vision, advanced autopilot capabilities and integrated flight management features.

Elliott Aviation has launched a limited-time avionics incentive for Citation 560XL operators, including Citation Excel, XLS and XLS+, upgrading to a Garmin G5000 flight deck. Eligible aircraft will receive a $50,000 credit, while Citation XLS+ operators can access up to $125,000 in total savings by combining the $50,000 with the US business aviation MRO provider’s previously announced $75,000 incentive available to the first five XLS+ upgrades. To qualify, customers must execute a signed contract and submit a deposit by 3 July 2026. Aircraft must be inducted by 1 December 2026.

The programme is designed to deliver value across the 560XL fleet while creating a time-limited opportunity for XLS+ operators. Citation Excel and XLS operators receive an immediate $50,000 reduction in upgrade cost, while XLS+ operators have a limited window to maximise savings through stacked incentives.

The promotion comes as operators prepare for the upcoming Honeywell MKV-to-MKV-A upgrade, which is expected to cost approximately $200,000 and provide limited operational benefit beyond compliance.

“Operators are facing a clear decision point with the required transition from MKV to MKV-A,” says Bill Forbes, SVP of sales and avionics programmes at Elliott Aviation. “They can invest roughly $200,000 into maintaining an ageing system and gain very little in return or they can apply that investment toward a Garmin G5000 upgrade that completely transforms the aircraft. This is about solving upcoming obsolescence while dramatically improving capability, safety and reliability. When you combine that with a limited-time credit of up to $125,000 for XLS+ operators, there has never been a better time to upgrade.”

The Garmin G5000 upgrade delivers a modernised flight deck, including touchscreen controllers, synthetic vision, advanced autopilot capabilities and integrated flight management features designed to improve situational awareness, reduce pilot workload and support long-term operational reliability.

The $50,000 credit applies to qualifying Citation Excel, XLS and XLS+ aircraft upgrading to the Garmin G5000. The combined $125,000 credit opportunity is available exclusively to the first five Citation XLS+ operators and is subject to shop capacity and aircraft configuration. Elliott Aviation is approaching 100 combined G5000 upgrades completed or in progress, more than any other dealer in the world.
