CAPA continues Tecnam relationship with training order
With its spacious cabin, advanced avionics, and multi-engine training capabilities, the P2006T prepares cadets for the complexities of aviation while maintaining the operator's commitment to sustainability and low costs.
The order was announced at AERO 2026.

Danish professional flight school Center Air Pilot Academy (CAPA) has signed an agreement to acquire one Tecnam P2006T NG and 10 Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft.

This new acquisition marks the latest chapter in a highly successful partnership that began in 2022 when CAPA purchased its first Tecnam aircraft. Following an excellent operational experience that proved the reliability and efficiency of the fleet, the academy expanded the relationship in 2024. This order underscores Center Air Pilot Academy's continuous drive to provide its students with the most advanced and environmentally friendly training platforms available.

The P2006T NG (Next Generation) complements the single-engine syllabus by providing the most cost-efficient twin-engine platform on the market. With its spacious cabin, advanced avionics, and exceptional multi-engine training capabilities, it prepares cadets for the complexities of commercial aviation while maintaining the operator's commitment to sustainability and low operating costs.

“By adding 10 P-Mentors and another P2006T NG to our fleet, we are ensuring our students train on the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly aircraft available,” says Simon Frost, co-owner and CTKI of Center Air Pilot Academy. “The synergy between the P-Mentor and the P2006T NG creates a seamless, modern training environment that perfectly mirrors the commercial airliner flight decks our cadets will soon enter. Tecnam continues to be a trusted partner in our mission to deliver world-class training in Scandinavia.”

Walter Da Costa, Tecnam's chief sales officer, adds: “We are incredibly proud that Center Air Pilot Academy has chosen to further innovate its fleet with this major order. The fact that this partnership began in 2022, grew in 2024 and has now resulted in this massive fleet expansion is the greatest testament to the quality and reliability of our aircraft. We are honoured to be the trusted partner for CAPA's sustainable and operational growth.”
