BA Flight in Argentina receives region's first P2006T Sport
The delivery marks a leap forward for aeronautical training in the region. With this acquisition, Argentina reaffirms its leadership in the use of the latest flight training tools across all Hispanic-speaking countries.
The outcome is the result of a strong team effort.

Facilitated by Aerotec Argentina, the very first Tecnam P2006T NG Sport in Argentina has been officially delivered to flight training academy, BA Flight.

The delivery to BA Flight marks a significant leap forward for aeronautical training in the region. With this milestone acquisition, Argentina reaffirms its leadership in the use of the latest flight training tools across all Hispanic-speaking countries. The arrival of the brand-new P2006T NG Sport expands the academy's growing roster to a total of five Tecnam aircraft.

Crucially, the new P2006T NG Sport perfectly complements BA Flight's existing training fleet, which is based on several Tecnam P2002 and P2008 LSA (Light Sport Aircraft). Together, these aircraft provide a complete, comprehensive training experience with the most modern, technologically advanced and fuel-efficient fleet available today.

This fleet synergy significantly strengthens the LSA category in Argentina. Because BA Flight students begin their LSA training in aircraft equipped with modern glass cockpits, they become intimately familiar with advanced avionics from day one. This strong technological foundation makes the eventual transition to the more complex, multi-engine P2006T NG Sport incredibly smooth and intuitive.

Furthermore, the outstanding beauty, ergonomics and comfort of the new twin-engine aircraft open up excellent possibilities beyond standard manoeuvres, facilitating highly efficient cross-country training in both VFR and IFR conditions.

BA Flight's fleet continues to grow,” states Franco Smeriglio, CSO Tecnam at Aerotec Group, the official regional Tecnam distributor for South “With the arrival of a new aircraft, the school strengthens its quality in aeronautical training and enhances its brand presence.”

David Vazquez, head of training at BA Flight, adds: “Incorporating the P2006T NG Sport into our fleet is a true game-changer for our multi-engine programmes. This aircraft offers our students an incredibly smooth transition to modern, glass-cockpit flying, combining outstanding safety with unparalleled operational efficiency. It directly supports our mission to elevate the standard of instruction we provide to the next generation of airline pilots.”

Walter Da Costa, chief sales officer at Tecnam concludes: “The Argentine delivery highlights the incredible momentum of the Tecnam brand across the LATAM region, driven by the dedication of partners like Aerotec Argentina SA to modernise local flight training fleets. We celebrate this continued expansion.”
