Luxaviation expands long-range fleet with G550
A Luxembourg-registered aircraft has joined operations between southern Europe and Istanbul, enabling non-stop travel across key intercontinental routes.
A floating deployment model allows the Gulfstream G550 to reposition quickly between high-demand charter markets across Europe and the Middle East.

Luxaviation UK has expanded its charter fleet with the addition of a Luxembourg-registered Gulfstream G550, strengthening its long-range offering between Europe and the Middle East.

The aircraft is available for charter and is based between the South of France and Istanbul, operating on key regional routes while supporting intercontinental travel. A floating deployment model allows the operator to position the aircraft where demand is strongest, improving responsiveness for clients.

The G550 is capable of non-stop flights such as London – Los Angeles and Paris – Tokyo, linking major business and leisure markets. It offers a range of 6,500 nautical miles and cruises at speeds of up to 650 mph.

Inside, the cabin accommodates up to 14 passengers and is configured for both work and rest, with fully reclining seats, advanced entertainment systems and high-speed connectivity.

“The arrival of the Gulfstream G550 represents another milestone in Luxaviation UK's commitment to providing the very best in business aviation,” says George Galanopoulos, CEO, Luxaviation UK. “The aircraft's combination of range, performance and cabin comfort makes it a natural fit for our growing fleet and the needs of our clients across Europe and the Middle East.”

“The Gulfstream G550 continues to set benchmarks for comfort and reliability in the ultra-long-range segment,” adds Patrick Hansen, CEO, Luxaviation Group. “Its addition to the Luxaviation UK fleet reflects our ongoing investment in modern, high-performance aircraft that exceed expectations.”

The fleet expansion comes as Luxaviation UK celebrates its 30th anniversary, supporting ongoing growth across its charter operations.
