ECS promotes Klein after two decades at company
Jonas Klein, who joined in 2008, takes operational lead after overseeing finance and helping build a round-the-clock transport service.

Exclusive Charter Service has appointed Jonas Klein as chief operating officer, adding operational oversight to a career that has spanned nearly two decades within the business.

Klein, who joined in 2008 as marketing director, played a central role in early growth before establishing the company’s 24/7 ground transportation division in 2012, strengthening client service with continuous support.

He moved into finance in 2015 as controller, working alongside co-founder Adam Klein, before becoming chief financial officer following his brother’s death in 2018.

During his time as CFO, ECS delivered sustained growth, including a 30% rise in EBITDA in 2025, as Klein combined financial oversight with operational execution.

As COO, he will lead day-to-day operations, develop internal systems and drive strategic initiatives, while also receiving stock options reflecting his long-term position.

Jason Johnson, founder and chief executive officer of ECS, says: “Jonas has truly been through every phase of this company's evolution. He has supported ECS as if it were his own from day one, and I am honoured to welcome him as COO. His brother Adam, my co-founder, would absolutely share in this moment with pride. Jonas is the future of this company. I rely on his counsel daily, and I am confident his leadership will drive continued growth and excellence at ECS.”

Johnson remains CEO, focusing on acquisitions and advancing technology including artificial intelligence across the platform.
