Western Aircraft has appointed Nick Chantorn as regional sales manager, jet, and the retirement of Doug Wendt following a long career in aviation.

Chantorn joins the Boise, Idaho-based FAA-certified repair station as regional sales manager, supporting MRO sales in the western region. He has more than 20 years of experience in aviation sales, client service and operations. Most recently, he served as director of sales for FXAif/Flexjet. Prior to that, he held key roles with Gulfstream, NetJets and Signature Flight Support. His background includes managing large customer portfolios, supporting multi-site service centre operations and building long-term client relationships across the business aviation sector. He is based in southern California.

Western Aircraft also recognises the retirement of regional sales manager Doug Wendt, who concludes a long career in aviation sales and customer support.

Wendt's career spans several decades and includes prior leadership roles with Gulfstream Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace and Western Jet Aviation. Known for his deep industry knowledge and commitment to customer service, Wendt has been a respected presence in business aviation and a trusted partner to operators throughout his career.

“Doug's contributions to the industry and to the customers he served have been significant,” says Kerry Heiss, director of sales for Western Aircraft. “We thank him for his years of dedication and wish him the very best in retirement.”
