Western Aircraft has named Alfredo Garcia its director of MRO sales and marketing. His focus will be on growing sales and continuing to build the pipeline across the MRO business.

Garcia has more than 30 years of aviation experience in FAA Part 145 and Part 135 maintenance operations, regulatory compliance and MRO sales. He comes from ACI Jet MRO where he had been director of sales and business development since 2023. There, he expanded the company’s reach to a three-state region and added channel partners.

Before ACI Jet, Garcia spent eight years as a regional manager for Duncan Aviation, working with major fleet operators and mentoring new sales and regional managers. He also led West Coast Aircraft Maintenance as general manager, FAA accountable manager and sales manager. He had full profit-and-loss responsibility and oversaw the company’s Part 145 and Part 135 compliance.

Garcia also spent nine years with Cessna’s Citation service centre network as Southwest sales manager and return-to-service inspector. He started in 1994 at Garrett Aviation, working his way from the engine shop to mechanic, inspector and customer project manager.

Garcia holds an FAA airframe and powerplant certificate from Northrop University and a business certificate from the University of Phoenix. He serves on the NBAA Maintenance Committee, chairs the Southern California Aviation Association Technical Committee and serves on the association’s board of directors.
