A pivotal moment for Gulfstream onboard connectivity
The solution provides access to a wide range of digital services including a moving map, surveys and feedback tools, multilingual interfaces and usage statistics. Moment will also serve as the content service provider.
Cybersecurity is at the heart of Moment's solutions.

Moment, a provider of onboard entertainment, connectivity and digital services for transport operators, has commenced a new partnership with the Armée de l'Air de Côte d'Ivoire to deploy its Flymingo Box wireless inflight entertainment system.

Under this agreement, Moment will equip a Gulfstream GIV operated by the Ivorian Air Force with Flymingo Box, delivering a fully embedded onboard digital experience.

Flymingo Box is a portable IFE server designed for rapid onboard deployment. With its battery-powered configuration, it can be installed without aircraft modifications, avoiding extended aircraft downtime. This makes it ideal for special-mission and governmental operations that require a commercial-grade digital cabin experience, delivered through a reliable, low-impact deployment.

The solution provides access to a wide range of digital services including a moving map, surveys and feedback tools, multilingual interfaces and usage statistics. Moment will also serve as the content service provider, delivering a curated entertainment package, including movies, documentaries, press, music and games via a branded platform aligned with the Air Force's identity.

Cybersecurity is at the heart of Moment's solutions. Flymingo Box is a standalone platform that guarantees data integrity on board the aircraft, thanks to a secure local Wi-Fi network. Powered by an independent server, the solution does not require in-flight connectivity.

This deployment reflects the growing adoption of secure, lightweight and rapidly deployable digital cabin solutions by governmental and institutional operators seeking to modernise onboard services while preserving strict military safety requirements and avoiding heavy aircraft modification programmes.

“We needed a reliable solution we could deploy immediately, without aircraft modifications, while significantly improving the onboard experience for our teams. Flymingo Box delivers exactly that through a secure, fully branded platform, aligned with our operational standards,” says Bah Gael Vianney, captain at the Armée de l'Air de Côte d'Ivoire.

“This partnership illustrates how defence and governmental operators can benefit, through the agility of our portable IFE solution, from the same level of onboard digital experience as commercial and business aviation, while maintaining operational flexibility and control,” concludes Tanguy Morel, CEO and co-founder of Moment.
