ACTSI gains QCAA approval to support Gulfstreams
Certification allows maintenance work on multiple Gulfstream models at Subic Bay while supporting Qatari-registered aircraft operating long-range routes across Asia-Pacific.
“QCAA certification enhances our ability to support Qatari-registered aircraft owners and operators from the Middle East who require dependable regional maintenance access,” says Stephen Klohr, director of quality at ACTSI.

Aviation Concepts Technical Services Incorporated (ACTSI) has secured foreign approved maintenance organisation (FAMO) approval from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), expanding the Philippine MRO facility’s ability to support QCAA-registered business aircraft operating across Asia-Pacific.

The certification enables ACTSI to perform line and base maintenance inspections on Gulfstream GVI (G650/G650ER), GVII (G500/G600) and GVIII (G700) aircraft from its Subic Bay International Airport facility. The company can also provide aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support for aircraft under QCAA registry.

The approval strengthens ACTSI’s appeal to Qatari-registered operators whose fleets regularly transit Southeast and Northeast Asia. Long-range business jet activity between the Middle East and Asia Pacific continues to expand, reinforcing Subic Bay’s role as a regional maintenance and parking alternative.
