A third Alsim AL250 simulator has been installed at Mermoz Academy's Tours base, marking the fourth Alsim simulator acquired by the French aviation school. This new addition highlights Mermoz's confidence in the reliability of Alsim's simulators and their essential role in training the pilots of tomorrow.

The AL250 simulator addresses the initial phase of training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is a SEP/MEP reconfigurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpits for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation, and more than 100 units have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

David Crochet, general manager of Mermoz Academy, states: “Alsim is renowned for the quality and reliability of its flight simulators, and the AL250 perfectly meets the training needs and requirements of our students. Having several simulators of the same model allows us to ensure equipment uniformity, thus guaranteeing consistent and high-quality training experience. This additional investment reflects our commitment to providing the best for our students.”

Audrey Jeffroy, sales and marketing director at Alsim, adds: “We are very proud of the trusted relationship we have built with Mermoz Academy. Our clients' trust is not just a value, it is a driving force in Alsim's DNA. With this third AL250 recently installed in Tours, Mermoz Academy confirms the strength of our partnership and inspires us to continue our mission of innovation and excellence in training the pilots of tomorrow.”
