Sentient Jet is expanding its payment options by enabling cryptocurrency transactions through BitPay. Card owners and new members can now complete payments using select cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and US dollar-backed coins such as USDC from Circle and PYUSD from PayPal.

All cryptocurrency payments are processed through BitPay and settled in US dollars, allowing Sentient Jet to provide the option without holding digital assets directly. The company says the move supports its goal of offering greater flexibility while maintaining a consistent member experience.

Sentient Jet has built its reputation by innovating how people travel privately, whether it’s through inventing the jet card model, introducing the simplicity of booking via text or advancing sustainability initiatives,” says company president Alan Walsh. “Across private travel we’re seeing experiences evolve to reflect how people make the most of their time and move through the world on their own terms. We continually partner with our clients to achieve this by providing thoughtful choice in communication options.”

BitPay brings more than a decade of experience processing blockchain payments and handles billions of dollars in transactions annually for global enterprises across fashion, technology and luxury retail. Through the partnership Sentient Jet joins other luxury brands offering customers a secure and compliant way to pay with digital assets.

Sentient Jet says the integration represents another step in its ongoing effort to simplify and elevate every aspect of private travel for its card owners.
