Magellan Jets has appointed Nishaat Vasi as chief product officer, effective immediately, with responsibility for product innovation, technology, AI and business intelligence across the company's jet card, charter and whole and fractional ownership offerings. Vasi joins the executive leadership team at the Quincy, Massachusetts-based provider.

Vasi moves from Zipcar, where he served as chief product officer, leading technology strategy across an operationally intensive mobility platform. Earlier roles include product and leadership positions at Flexcar, TripAdvisor and MathWorks, where he launched consumer products, built partner integrations and developed loyalty and pricing offerings. He brings more than 18 years of technology leadership experience.

The appointment follows the June 2026 expansion of the leadership roles held by Matthew Harris, chief strategy and growth officer, and Josh Lesnick, chief operating officer, as part of the company's acquisition and platform expansion plans. Founded in Boston in 2008, Magellan Jets is headquartered in Quincy, Massachusetts, with a private terminal in Bedford, Massachusetts.
