Leading Edge Avionics strengthens Chino focus
Avionics work on piston and twin-piston aircraft will be consolidated in Chino, while turbine and jet projects are moving to Orange County.

Leading Edge Avionics (LEA) is expanding operations at its Chino facility with the return of Juan Delgado as lead avionics technician. The site is being developed into a centre of excellence for Garmin products in private and piston aircraft.

CEO Kathryn Brewer says: “We are incredibly happy to welcome Juan back to the Leading Edge Avionics family. His long-term expertise and considerable talent will be instrumental as we continue to take on complex, high-stakes projects and deliver world-class service to our clients.”

Under a revised operating structure, the Chino location now concentrates on private piston and twin-piston aircraft while the Orange County facility addresses rising turbine and jet traffic. The company says the separation improves efficiency while allowing deeper technical focus at each site.

Chino’s team has already demonstrated its capabilities this year through a strong project pipeline and the completion of several high-complexity restorations, including work on vintage military aircraft. “We foresee our Chino location becoming one of our largest and most powerful sites,” Brewer adds. “Our relentless focus on safety, impeccable installation quality, on-time delivery and, critically, sticking to our quoted bid will continue to drive our success and cement our reputation as the region's premier avionics provider.”
