Industry unites in Cologne for future-focused European Rotors 2025
The fifth edition of the show featured 266 exhibitors and 23 aircraft, as attendees gathered to focus on safety, innovation and sustainability.
European Rotors 2025 brought 5,478 attendees to Cologne, a 17.5 per cent increase over the previous year.

European Rotors 2025 ended on 20 November after four days of exhibitions, training and safety-focused dialogue that established the event as a major meeting point for Europe's rotorcraft and VTOL community. The show is owned and co-organised by the European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), managed by European Rotors GmbH and produced by Vertical Aviation International (VAI). It drew 5,478 attendees to Koelnmesse in Cologne, a 17.5 per cent increase over the 2024 edition. A total of 266 exhibitors and 23 aircraft were on display.

This year’s show highlighted safety, sustainability, innovation and the future workforce, while offering a broad programme focused on operational excellence and regulation. Fredrick Kämpfe, chairman of EHA, says: “Our community is shifting decisively from discussion to delivery. What we witnessed this year in Cologne was an ecosystem ready to tackle challenges together.”

Stefano Fico, head of EASA’s general aviation and VTOL department, adds: “European Rotors provided the opportunity for regulatory authorities, manufacturers, operators, suppliers and other organisations to discuss practical actions.”

The show also featured the EASA Rotorcraft Symposium, technical workshops, best-practice sessions and Career Day programming. Planning is underway for European Rotors 2026, to be held in Lyon.
