Epic Aircraft’s E1000 AX has received type certification by EASA, authorising the aircraft for sales and operations throughout Europe.

The certification marks a major milestone for Epic Aircraft, expanding the global reach of its flagship high-performance turboprop and reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering innovative, certified aircraft to customers worldwide.

The E1000 AX delivers jet-class performance with the efficiency and flexibility of a single engine turboprop. With a full fuel payload of 1,177lb and maximum cruise speed of 333kts, the E1000 AX carries more and flies faster than any other single-engine turboprop. Additional performance highlights include a climb rate of 4,000ft per minute, maximum range of 1,560nm and 34,000ft maximum altitude.

Epic Aircraft plans to begin sales throughout Europe in 2027. To support European owners, Epic has appointed Airlink in Salzburg as its inaugural authorised service centre and Personalised Flight Training & Examinations, also based in Salzburg, Austria, as its official European flight training organisation. Together, these strategic partnerships will provide factory-authorised maintenance, technical support and pilot training close to home.
