Western Aircraft renews AS9110C and OSHA certifications
The Boise-based MRO provider continues to meet high standards for both operational quality and workplace safety, passing audits for AS9110C and SHARP certification.
SHARP recognition reflects exemplary safety and health programmes among small businesses.

Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, has renewed its AS9110C and OSHA SHARP certifications, reaffirming its commitment to quality and safety. The Boise, Idaho-based FAA-certified repair station has held AS9110C certification since 2013, meeting the aerospace industry’s strict quality management standards through regular audits.

The company also maintained its OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification, which it first received in 2006. SHARP recognises small businesses with outstanding safety and health programmes, and Western Aircraft is one of only six companies in Idaho to hold this distinction.

“These certifications aren't easy to achieve or to keep,” says Jody Harris, director of operations logistics at Western Aircraft. “Passing both audits again speaks to the professionalism of our team and the culture we've built here. Safety, quality and consistency are at the heart of everything we do.”

Harris adds that maintaining both certifications reflects the company’s proactive and team-driven approach. “Being AS9110C and SHARP certified sends a clear message to our customers and our community. It means we don't just meet the standard; we raise it.”
