The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has added to its suite of insurance offerings with the launch of a brand-new cyber insurance programme underwritten by E-Risk Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. Designed specifically for NATA's diverse membership, the programme provides comprehensive protection against escalating cyber threats facing aviation businesses, with a flexible and easy-to-use online submission process. Features of the NATA cyber insurance programme include: business interruption and extortion expense coverage; cyber breach recertification and forensic expense coverage; and data and computer system restoration expense coverage.
“The digital transformation of general aviation yields immense efficiencies, but also introduces complex risks that require specialised protection,” states NATA president and CEO Curt Castagna. “NATA is proud to deliver a new cyber insurance programme that empowers our members to navigate this environment while protecting their data, operations and invaluable reputation from the ground to the cloud.”
“In today's interconnected world, cybersecurity coverage is becoming a fundamental aspect of aviation safety and business continuity,” adds AssuredPartners Aerospace president Eric Barfield. “Addressing the sophisticated cyber threats facing general aviation requires a united front, and we are pleased to once again partner with NATA to deliver a programme that significantly strengthens NATA members' digital defences and operational resilience.”
Administered by AssuredPartners Aerospace, NATA's tailored cyber solution helps members maintain operational continuity, protect sensitive assets and uphold the trust of their customers and partners.
