jetAviva CEO Emily Deaton has joined the NBAA as senior vice president for product development and sales, a newly created role supporting the association's growth and member offering.

Deaton will lead the creation of new products, services and member experiences, forge strategic partnerships across the industry and accelerate the NBAA’s growth at a transformational time for business aviation.

NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen says: “We are incredibly excited for the entrepreneurial drive Emily is bringing to this new role at NBAA. She is a dynamic growth leader, with a hands-on work ethic and proven track record.”

Deaton has served as CEO of jetAviva for the past four years, growing annual revenue, expanding the brokerage into new aircraft categories and building sales partnerships across five continents.

Before joining jetAviva, she was business development manager at Embraer, where she developed new markets and rebuilt the manufacturer's process for tracking and pursuing sales opportunities. She also serves on the boards of Angel Flight West and the International Aircraft Dealers Association.

In 2022, Deaton was named to NBAA's Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Florida.

Bolen adds: “Emily combines big-picture strategy and creativity with operational rigour. She is known for entering complex, fast-moving environments with a clear vision.”
