TAG Aviation has retained its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status for both its Cayman and San Marino AOCs. The certification was renewed following successful audits carried out by Wyvern in May 2025.
The Wingman standard was the first air charter audit standard introduced in the industry and remains a benchmark for assessing safety and performance practices.
“Renewing our Wyvern Wingman certification reflects TAG Aviation San Marino's unwavering focus on safety and operational integrity,” says Karson Wong, accountable manager of TAG Aviation San Marino. “This achievement underscores the dedication of our team to uphold the highest industry standards, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service with the utmost confidence.”
Julyn Tan, accountable manager of TAG Aviation (Cayman) SEZC, adds: “Safety is the cornerstone of our operations, and the renewal of the Wyvern Wingman certification reaffirms TAG Aviation Cayman's adherence to global best practices. Our team's relentless pursuit of excellence in maintenance, training and operational procedures ensures that our clients experience unmatched reliability and peace of mind. This recognition motivates us to keep raising the bar in business aviation.”
Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated against a wide scope of criteria, including operational activity, internal programmes, documentation, records, training and maintenance.
Wyvern senior vice president of operators Andrew Day says: “TAG Aviation's renewal of the Wingman certification highlights its steadfast commitment to safety and operational excellence. By consistently meeting stringent safety standards and adhering to industry best practices in aircraft management and maintenance, TAG Aviation continues to set a benchmark in business aviation.”
