DAS completes promising Jet Parts merger
Under DAS Aviation identity, the merged company is committed to solidifying its position as an industry leader in aviation support, with facilities in Cedar Hill, Texas and Solon, Ohio, housing over 100,000 sq ft of shopfloor.
An expanded inventory will be available.

DAS Aviation, an FAA Part 145 repair station specialising in airframe structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, component repair and composite structures, is merging with Jet Parts, reinforcing its commitment to offering comprehensive parts solutions for the aviation industry. This merger connects Jet Parts' extensive inventory with DAS Aviation's overhaul and repair capabilities, enhancing the company's ability to provide outright sales, exchanges, rentals and repair services to its customers.

Under DAS Aviation identity, the merged company is committed to solidifying its position as an industry leader in aviation support. Its component repair and overhaul facilities in Cedar Hill, Texas and Solon, Ohio, housing over 100,000 sq ft of shop space, along with its expansive 44,000 sq ft warehouse in Collinsville, Illinois, allow it to serve its clients with unmatched reliability and efficiency.

“As we transition from Jet Parts to DAS Aviation, we are excited to broaden our scope and reinforce our commitment to customer service,” remarks Dan Podojil, vice president of DAS Aviation. “Our expanded inventory and new service offerings are designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring they receive the parts and support necessary to keep their aircraft flying safely and efficiently.”

Danny Suber, who has dedicated more than 20 years to supporting customers at Jet Parts, expressed his enthusiasm for this transition: “I absolutely value the relationships I've built over the years, and I'm excited to offer my customers even more options. This merger expands what I can provide far beyond just parts. With DAS Aviation's enhanced services, we can now offer repairs, overhauls, exchanges and even send someone to evaluate components directly on-site. This significantly increases the value and choices available to our customers compared to what we've offered in the past.”

As part of this rebranding, DAS Aviation will continue to provide comprehensive services, including airframe structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, component overhaul, composite structures and a range of parts services. It also specialises in composite repair, engineering, machining, painting, transmissivity testing and mobile onsite repairs.

DAS Aviation focuses on delivering exceptional service characterised by reliability, quick response times and effective solutions. With its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, it aims to set new standards in aviation support. Clients can expect professional service from a reliable partner dedicated to their success in the aviation industry.
