ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services has successfully completed its first airframe heavy maintenance check at its new base maintenance facility at Beijing Daxing International airport in China. ExecuJet Haite's Daxing facility received CAAC Part 145 approval in March of this year.
The inaugural check was a 2C-level maintenance check for a Gulfstream G550 aircraft operated by Aladdin Business Jet. Aladdin Jet operates the G550 on Chinese domestic routes, and because of its 6,750 nm range the G550 is also used for international sectors. This ultra long-range aircraft can fly China to the US west coast non-stop.
The comprehensive maintenance inspection involved 198 routine maintenance tasks and 94 non-routine specialised maintenance tasks. Executed under the guidance of the Daxing Office of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the project demonstrated the team's exceptional project management expertise and technical proficiency, adhering strictly to aviation safety standards. The aircraft resumed operations immediately after delivery, undertaking premium business charter flights from Beijing Daxing International.
Aladdin Business Jet says: “As it is among the first business aviation enterprises based at Daxing International airport, this partnership highlights ExecuJet Haite's cutting-edge infrastructure, robust ground support and world-class maintenance services. Moving forward, we will leverage Daxing airport's status as a global aviation hub and further collaborate with the airport's top-tier FBO service provider, Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM), to leverage the benefits of the airport's fully integrated FBO, MRO and operator business model to jointly build one of Asia Pacific's premier business aviation headquarters.”
“This maintenance milestone demonstrates our high-level service capabilities at Beijing Daxing International Airport, and we intend to continue developing and growing these capabilities to match the quality and service levels we have delivered in Tianjin for many years,” says Paul Desgroseilliers, general manager of ExecuJet Haite. “Clients with aircraft based in Beijing and the surrounding regions can now access international-standard heavy maintenance services without aircraft repositioning. We remain committed to enhancing service efficiency and delivering streamlined aviation solutions.”
ExecuJet Haite's MRO facility at Daxing is 5,000 sqm and includes a large-scale, air conditioned and heated hangar as well as ultra-modern office space and back shops. The hangar can accommodate eight midsize to large business jets simultaneously. Beijing Daxing International Airport is the newest international gateway to China and the region. The airport's recent investment into business aviation includes an area of over 300,000 sqm for business aviation including FBO, business aviation MRO and parking ramp and hangars, making it Asia Pacific's largest business aviation centre.
