Charlie Love is a former Embraer man.

The Blackhawk Group has hired Charlie Love as president of its Performance Center network. He brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across the aviation and aerospace industries, with deep expertise in MRO operations, OEM programmes, quality control, component repair, manufacturing and flight operations.

Prior to joining The Blackhawk Group, Love served in key leadership roles at notable aviation companies, including director of business operations at ACHI and general manager at Embraer (MRO).

With flagship facilities located at Columbia Regional airport in Columbia, Missouri, and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport in Broomfield, Colorado, and a newly-opened location at Glendale Regional airport in Arizona, these centres focus on Beechcraft King Air, Cessna Citation, Cirrus SR series and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Services include comprehensive aircraft maintenance, engine upgrade installations, avionics upgrades and STC development.

As president of Blackhawk's Performance Center network, Love will oversee operational strategy, execution and growth initiatives across the division. He will report directly to CEO Chad Cundiff and play a critical role in positioning The Blackhawk Group as the premier service provider in the light turbine market.

“Charlie's exceptional leadership and deep aviation experience make him the ideal fit to lead our Performance Center network,” says Chad Cundiff, CEO of The Blackhawk Group. “His commitment to operational excellence and customer service aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver an unmatched customer experience.”

“I'm honoured to join The Blackhawk Group and lead the Performance Center network,” adds Love. “This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity, and I look forward to working with this talented team to further our leadership in the aviation industry.”
