In-flight catering company Air Culinaire Worldwide has introduced an order management portal that delivers an experience akin to food delivery apps to passengers in flight.

The platform allows users to browse and order from over 1,200 locations globally, including live menus from Air Culinaire’s 23 kitchens as well as vetted third-party caterers in the global network, and easily track their orders and expenses.

“This is the first and only end-to-end order management solution for in-flight catering,” says Air Culinaire CEO John Lee. “For the first time, users have complete visibility of their catering operations, from order tracking and simplified invoicing to extensive regional menu browsing and streamlined checkout, all in one intuitive interface.”

Air Culinaire is also planning to integrate its portal with established business aviation software so that users can sync catering with their preferred flight management tools. “This digital platform is the next step in our innovation journey,” adds Lee. “We’re already developing integrations with leading flight management systems, expanding our eco-friendly packaging initiatives and strengthening our farm-to-flight programme that brings fresh, local ingredients to every kitchen in our network.”
