Fargo Jet Center completes upgrade for PC-12
The upgrade at Hector International Airport included a new Garmin avionics suite and Finnoff Aviation performance enhancements, boosting both efficiency and comfort.
Performance enhancements have contributed to improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise in the Pilatus PC-12.

Fargo Jet Center (FJC) at Hector International Airport in North Dakota has successfully completed a significant upgrade on a Pilatus PC-12, enhancing the aircraft’s avionics and performance capabilities. The upgrade featured the installation of a state-of-the-art Garmin avionics suite and key performance enhancements by Finnoff Aviation.

The new Garmin suite improves situational awareness and cockpit efficiency with features like dual G600TXi systems, GTN-750 WAAS GPS, and a GFC600 digital autopilot. “This upgrade transforms the flight deck with more advanced yet user-friendly avionics, giving operators the tools and confidence to excel on every flight,” says Drew Stiles, avionics lead technician at FJC.

Additionally, the Finnoff Aviation enhancements include a seven-blade propeller and PT6A-67P engine upgrade, which improve the aircraft’s climb performance, fuel efficiency, and cabin noise levels. “These Finnoff upgrades elevate the PC-12 in both performance and passenger comfort,” adds Mike Clancy, VP of technical operations at FJC.

All installations and system testing were conducted at FJC’s modern facility, ensuring high-quality solutions and minimal downtime.
