The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to perform line and base maintenance on Chinese-registered Falcon 7X and Falcon 2000EX EASy aircraft. Located at Kuala Lumpur's Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Subang Airport, the Dassault Aviation subsidiary can now undertake maintenance checks up to and including the extensive 4C checks.

This approval marks the first time ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has been authorised to maintain China-registered Falcon aircraft, highlighting the company's expanding capabilities in the Asia Pacific region. “The fact China is such a big market for business aviation and one that is in close proximity to Malaysia means it is an ideal market for us to target,” says Ivan Lim, regional VP Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services.

Additionally, the CAAC has renewed ExecuJet Malaysia’s certification to maintain Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. Previously, in 2019, the CAAC approved the facility to provide line and heavy maintenance for Gulfstream GIV and various Bombardier aircraft models.

China’s significant business aviation presence, with nearly 300 aircraft in the region, coupled with growing economic ties with ASEAN, positions ExecuJet Malaysia favorably to serve an increasing number of Chinese-registered jets visiting Southeast Asia. Lim adds: “We are a factory-owned Falcon service centre and with a world-class facility supplemented by a workforce that includes some fluent Mandarin speakers, we are ideally positioned to serve these Chinese operators.”
