Western becomes Goodrich de-icing service centre
The Boise-based company joins Collins Aerospace’s network to provide advanced de-icing solutions for safer flights.

Western Aircraft has been approved as an authorised Goodrich de-icing service centre by Collins Aerospace, part of RTX. The designation allows the company to install, maintain and support Collins Aerospace’s de-icing systems.

John Kochel, director of parts and logistics, says: “We are honoured to be named an authorised Goodrich de-icing service centre by Collins Aerospace. This designation reflects our dedication to providing unparalleled service and support to our customers.”

Goodrich de-icing systems are essential for ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operations in icing conditions. Western Aircraft serves a large client base across the United States and Canada, supporting airframes such as Citation, Embraer, Falcon, Gulfstream, King Air, Pilatus, Piper and Kodiak.
