ExecuJet Malaysia gains approval for Bombardier maintenance in Taiwan
The approval enables ExecuJet to provide line and base maintenance for Bombardier jets, expanding the company's regional service options.
A Bombardier Global Express, the first to come into Taiwan, undergoing a heavy maintenance check at ExecuJet's Malaysia facility.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has received approval from Taiwan’s Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) to serve as an overseas repair station for Bombardier aircraft. This certification allows ExecuJet to perform line maintenance and heavy maintenance checks, including 96-month checks on Challenger 604 and 605 series aircraft and up to 120-month checks on the Bombardier Global series, such as the Global Express and Global 6500.

The approval marks the first time ExecuJet has been authorised to maintain Taiwan-registered aircraft. Taiwan, with approximately 30 business jets, represents a growing market for ExecuJet's services. The CAA certification also allows ExecuJet to perform engine line maintenance, parts replacement, and non-destructive testing on airframes, including ultrasonic and eddy current inspections.

Ivan Lim, regional VP Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services, says: “We sought this approval in response to the needs of our customers in Taiwan. Our customers have been at the forefront in assisting us along the way in liaising with Taiwan CAA to ensure the approval is obtained expeditiously. We already have maintenance slots booked from our customers in Taiwan.”

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia's facility at Subang Airport provides convenient access to Taiwanese operators, offering added capacity and maintenance options. The approval comes in response to growing demand from customers in Taiwan, with maintenance slots already booked. The expansion of services aligns with Taiwan’s developing business aviation market, presenting new opportunities for ExecuJet throughout the region.
