Signature’s Panama City terminal earns Wyvern Wingman designation
The certification marks the first of its kind in the Americas, validating Signature's safety and operational standards.

Signature Aviation's private terminal at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City has received a Wyvern Wingman FBO designation after a successful audit by Wyvern. The certification establishes a safety benchmark, and is intended to allow air charter operators to choose FBOs that adhere to strict standards, providing a verified mark of excellence in the industry.

Wyvern Wingman FBOs are assessed using stringent Wingman standard criteria that highlight the safety management system. An evaluation of operational activities, a review of safety records, an internal assessment programme and relevant technical documentation are key components of this process.

Brad Williams, Signature Aviation's chief operating officer, says: “At Signature, we're committed to making every second exceptional for our guests, and this award speaks to our dedication to providing the highest levels of safety and service. We are proud of our PTY location for delivering safety and excellence and being the first in our network, and the second in the world, to achieve the Wyvern Wingman FBO designation.”

In 2024, ExecuJet Australia’s Sydney terminal became the first location globally to achieve Wyvern Wingman FBO status, marking a significant milestone in that region. The recent certifications of both ExecuJet Australia and Signature Aviation’s Panama City terminal highlight the growing recognition of the Wyvern Wingman designation.
