ExecuJet Haite and CBM open Asia Pacific's largest business aviation centre
Beijing Daxing is attractive for operators because of its streamlined security, easy ramp access and hangar facilities. ExecuJet Haite and CBM are delighted to support business aircraft in the 400,000sqm centre.

ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China (ExecuJet Haite) has opened its purpose-built MRO facility and Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management (CBM) its newly established international channel at Beijing Daxing International airport. The two companies held a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the official opening.

ExecuJet Haite's MRO facility will soon be fully certified, joining CBM's new purpose-built FBO facility, the largest of its kind in the country and now featuring an international channel.

Beijing Daxing International airport is the newest international gateway to China and the region. Its push into business aviation is significant because the space allocated at the airport for business aviation is 400,000sqm, making it Asia Pacific's largest business aviation centre. This includes a 300,000sqm airport apron for aircraft parking, loading and unloading, refuelling and boarding.

ExecuJet Haite's Daxing MRO is 7,150sqm, including a 5,000sqm air conditioned and heated hangar as well as ultra modern office space and extensive backshops. The hangar can accommodate eight mid-size to large business jets simultaneously, and the MRO facility provides line, AOG support and heavy maintenance for various aircraft types from Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer and Gulfstream.

This new facility is more than double the size of ExecuJet Haite's already established 2,700sqm MRO facility at Tianjin's Binhai International airport.

CBM's FBO, meanwhile, is spread across three levels and includes 12 VIP rooms. The building has a dedicated channel for business jet travellers flying domestically, another channel for international flights and a third channel for VVIPs. The FBO has 85 aircraft parking spaces including plenty of undercover parking space, with five dedicated hangars. The hangars and parking apron can accommodate both Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ single aisle aircraft.

ExecuJet Haite general manager Paul Desgrosseilliers says: “We have been operating for nearly 15 years in China and are excited to now have a first-class MRO facility here at Beijing Daxing International airport, one of the main international gateways to China and the region. The infrastructure at Beijing Daxing is second to none and is an attractive proposition for business jet operators because of features such as streamlined security, customer focused amenities, easy ramp access and hangar facilities. We are delighted to immediately start supporting business aircraft and be working with CBM to create a world-class business aviation hub.”

Li Yiyong, general manager of CBM, adds: “The opening of the international channel of the Daxing business jet terminal provides a convenient and efficient new channel for international business passengers to enter and exit Daxing airport. It's of great significance for improving access and promoting business cooperation, as well as for economic and trade development in Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin.”
