Southeast Aerospace has received FAA approval for an amendment to STC number ST04570CH which provides Honeywell SPZ 8000-equipped Hawker 800 series aircraft the opportunity for cockpit modernisation.

The STC provides a modernisation option for

Hawker 800A, 800B and 800XP aircraft with existing Collins APS-80 or Honeywell SPZ 8000 autopilots can be upgraded to the Universal InSight integrated flight deck, a comprehensive system incorporating an advanced synthetic vision system, detailed electronic charts and integrated radio control capabilities. This streamlined approach reduces the number of external line replaceable units (LRUs) traditionally required, cutting down on avionics weight and complex wiring.

The key components for STC number ST04570CH are:

- Universal Avionics InSight three-display EFIS with touchscreen control.

- WAAS LPV with Universal Avionics dual UNS 1FW FMS.

- Integrated, geo-referenced radio tuning.

- Reduction of over 30 existing panel annunciators.

- Mid Continent Instrument MD 302 SAM electronics standby instrument.

- Optional Bendix King RDR-2100 weather radar or retain existing radar.

- Optional cockpit audio upgrade - PS Engineering PAC 45L.

- Optional CPDLC - Universal Avionics UL 801 CMU w/ integrated VDL.

- Optional FANS 1/A and ATN B1 - Latitude Technologies/Satcom Direct DL-150 Iridium Datalink.

- Optional Universal Avionics Kapture CVR w/ RIPS and datalink recording, also available as a standalone option.

- Optional ADS-B Out - dual Garmin GTX 3000 transponders.

- Optional Honeywell MK-VII EGPWS software update.

- GPS/WAAS antennas, Iridium antenna and VDL antenna installations.
