Textron selects Kapture for Cessna Citation portfolio
The Kapture system's compliance with the latest mandates, combined with its robust features and data analysis capabilities, make it a compelling choice for operators.
Four Cessna Citation business jets are to be integrated with Universal’s Kapture CVR/FDR, providing 25 hours of voice recording and more than 100 hours of flight data recording.

Universal Avionics is to supply its Kapture cockpit voice (CVR) and flight data (FDR) recorders to Textron Aviation across a range of its high-performance Cessna Citation jets.

The Kapture recorders, chosen for their compliance with the latest regulations, the ease with which they enable data to be retrieved and analysed, and their advanced data storage capabilities, will be installed on the Cessna Citation Longitude, Latitude, Ascend and CJ4 Gen 2.

For aircraft owners navigating evolving regulations for recorders, Kapture recorders provide a comprehensive solution. Their extended recording capacity exceeds mandated requirements. Users can retrieve and analyse data with ease using extensive flight data applications and services, including cloud-based data collection for flight data monitoring, analysis, animation and reporting tools for individual aircraft, with the option to aggregate at fleet levels.

“This contract showcases the trust aircraft owners and manufacturers place in Kapture to meet evolving regulatory requirements and enhance data collection,” says UA CEO Dror Yahav. “The Kapture system's compliance with the latest mandates, combined with its robust features and data analysis capabilities, make it a compelling choice for discerning operators.”
