Christie to lead GJC Americas sales team
Mike Christie has been with Global Jet Capital since 2018, and in that time he has developed a keen understanding of the products and services, and the markets it serves.
Head of sales for the Americas Mike Christie.

Global Jet Capital has appointed Mike Christie to head of sales for the Americas. He will succeed Steve Day, who is stepping down after more than eight years with the company.

Most recently, Christie served as vice president sales, Western US and Ohio. In his new role, he will oversee the company's sales activities in the United States, Mexico and Latin America.

"Mike has been with Global Jet Capital since 2018, and in that time he has developed a keen understanding of our products and services and the markets we serve. Mike's energy, collaborative approach and prior experience in multiple roles managing high-performing sales teams in the arena of financial services will be of great benefit to Global Jet Capital," says CEO Vivek Kaushal. "He is a relentless advocate for our clients and industry partners and will be a great addition to our senior leadership team."

Before joining Global Jet Capital, Christie served in a variety of market-facing sales roles at GE Capital, US Bank and Huntington National Bank. He earned a BA in political science at the University of Michigan and later completed his MBA at Wayne State University.

Kaushal adds: "We are grateful to Steve for his contributions since joining Global Jet Capital in 2016. Steve played an integral role in establishing our presence in the Americas markets, particularly in the US and Mexico. He has developed a seasoned team with deep ties into a market that recognises and respects the Global Jet Capital brand. Steve's experience and wisdom will be missed as he moves to the next chapter in a long and varied career."
