P2006T MkII becomes first twin-engine Tecnam in PSA training fleet
The aircraft expands Pacific States Aviation’s multi-engine training in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing students with a fuel-efficient platform designed to resemble a commercial aviation cockpit environment.
Pacific States Aviation is dedicated to environmentally responsible flight operations.

Pacific States Aviation (PSA) has added a Tecnam P2006T MkII Premium Edition, the first twin-engine aircraft in its growing Tecnam fleet, expanding its multi-engine training capacity in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

The P2006T MkII provides students with a fuel-efficient twin-engine platform and features a glass cockpit environment designed to resemble commercial aviation. Its fuel efficiency also lowers carbon emissions and noise pollution compared with legacy twin-engine trainers.

Pacific States Aviation owner and president Rashid Yahya says: “We are deeply committed to providing environmentally responsible flight training alongside top-tier instruction. The Tecnam P2006T MkII perfectly aligns with this mission. It offers our students a highly advanced, modern multi-engine platform while allowing us to significantly reduce our environmental footprint.”

The acquisition was facilitated by Cutter Aviation, which is marking its first year as an authorised Tecnam dealer and has been in business for 98 years. Cutter Tecnam regional manager Patrick Cote says: “We look forward to building a strong, long-term partnership with Rashid and the team at Pacific States Aviation. We're excited to support the continued growth of their multi-engine training programme and are confident the Tecnam P2006T MkII will provide students with an exceptional training platform for years to come.”

Customised financing was provided by Nesher Aviation, which supports fleet expansion for flight schools across the US. Nesher managing member Reuven Hahn says: “Nesher is excited to continue expanding our West Coast relationship with Tecnam and PSA. Nesher is proud to partner with PSA and support bringing a modern platform to its multi-engine curriculum.”

Tecnam chief sales officer Walter Da Costa says: “We are incredibly proud to see the P2006T MkII join Pacific States Aviation's fleet in the Bay Area. This delivery reflects our continued commitment to supporting leading flight schools with efficient, modern and reliable training aircraft.”
