ExecuJet MRO makes Western Australia a centre of excellence for Embraer
ExecuJet MRO Services Australia's Perth site is introducing maintenance services for Embraer business jets within Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region, complementing those already in Sydney and Melbourne.
ExecuJet MRO Services regional VP Australasia Grant Ingall and general manager Perth Edward Coote with Embraer VP global MRO centres Frank Stevens and senior manager, MRO development and relationship Jonas Yap.

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia's Perth facility is now an Embraer authorised service centre (ASC). Support will begin with Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. The Perth facility has invested in the tooling and training to support these aircraft.

"With its proximity to southeast Asia, it made sense to make Perth one of our centres of excellence for Embraer aircraft," says Grant Ingall, VP Australasia. The facility expects significant business as Embraer models are popular across the region.

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia, including its maintenance centre at Perth airport, is approved by Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), the FAA as well as the civil aviation authorities for Bermuda, Cayman Islands, San Marino, Vietnam and Indonesia, to perform airframe heavy maintenance checks on Embraer executive jets.

"Southeast Asia is a key market for us and a focus of our outreach," says Ingall, adding that the company has some staff who are fluent in multiple languages.

"We are very pleased to add Perth to our MRO network as an Embraer authorised service centre through the partnership with ExecuJet. This is a milestone for our customers in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. To offer world-class facilities and services in the country along with our business partners is part of our long-term strategy to expand the capacity, capability and footprint of our network and add value to our customers," says Frank Stevens, vice president MRO services, Embraer Services & Support.

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia's Melbourne and Sydney facilities have been Embraer ASCs since 2010, managing Embraer Executive Care and warranty claims for spare parts and labour directly with the OEM.
