Paragon celebrates 10 years of Member Awards
Paragon is celebrating record-breaking votes cast for its 2023 Network Member Awards; FBO Member of the Year, FBO Manager of the Year, the Award of Excellence and the Diamond Partner Award.

Now in its tenth year, the Paragon Network has received the highest ever number of votes for its 2023 awards.

"We are overjoyed to share that we have received the highest number of votes ever in the history of our awards programme. The overwhelming response is a testament to the passion and enthusiasm of our community in recognising and celebrating excellence," says president Megan Barnes. "We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every individual who took the time to cast their vote, contributing to the success of our awards programme. Your participation has made this 10th year truly special."

The 2023 FBO Member of the Year was awarded to Business Jet Center (BJC) based at Dallas Love Field airport in Texas. Fellow FBO members and thousands of flight departments had the opportunity to cast their votes, and customer feedback surveys submitted throughout the year also played a role in determining the winner. BJC received a personalised crystal trophy, a custom banner to display in their lobby and a team lunch sponsored by Phillips 66, BJC's fuel provider. Paragon also donated to Business Jet Cares, BJC's non-profit organisation that supports the local community as well as national charities like Folds of Honour and Patriot Paws Service Dogs.

The FBO Manager of the Year award focuses on an individual who is an active participant in the network, regularly shares best practices, is highly respected by their team and contributes their expertise to fellow members. Selected by Paragon's corporate team, this year's recipient was Julie O'Brien, general manager at ProJet Aviation located at Leesburg Executive airport in Virginia. O'Brien, who won this award previously in 2019, is the co-founder of ProJet's Aviation Education and Career Expo and sits on Paragon's FBO advisory board.

The Award of Excellence recognises an FBO team member who has gone above and beyond and is chosen from fellow FBO members' votes and results from customer feedback surveys. Congratulations to Ysabella Tetley, customer service manager at Henriksen Jet Center based at Houston Executive airport in Texas, who was voted as this year's winner. This is Tetley's second time earning this distinction.

X-1FBO, an advanced FBO software system designed to improve safety, maximise profits and enhance customer service, won the Diamond Partner Award. This award recognises a partner in Paragon's Strategic Partner vendor programme, a group of carefully vetted companies that offer exclusive pricing to Paragon Preferred customers.
