StandardAero marks big numbers in engine maintenance
StandardAero has performed its 1,500th engine shop visit for Pinnacle Air Network and is celebrating the 7,500th Rolls-Royce AE family shop visit at its Maryland facility.

StandardAero recently celebrated the completion of its 1,500th engine event for the Pinnacle Air Network, an alliance of 17 independent FBOs, MRO providers and aircraft sales and charter companies located across North America. The network is headquartered in Dallas, Texas and has collective revenues of over $1.6 billion plus more than 4,600 employees spread over 113 locations in the US and Mexico. Its MROs have over 1,000 skilled technicians and $38 million in parts inventory. The group has over 200 aircraft in its charter and management fleet.

StandardAero supports the Pinnacle Air Network and its members with MRO services for a range of engine platforms, including the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop and JT15D turbofan, and with services that include engine overhaul, hot section inspection (HSI) and repair.

Executive director Lance Phillips says: “Our preferred partnership with StandardAero brings unmatched benefits to Pinnacle Air Network members. The StandardAero team works tirelessly to meet our members' needs while providing industry-leading engine service support.”

StandardAero truly values our close relationship with the Pinnacle Air Network and its member companies,” adds Adam MacArthur, regional sales director, airlines and fleets for StandardAero. “We truly value the confidence shown in us by such an influential name in the private aviation marketplace, and look forward to continuing to meet and exceed the expectations of the Pinnacle Air Network and its members with reliable PT6A and JT15D engine support over the coming years.”

StandardAero is also celebrating delivery of the 7,500th Rolls-Royce AE family engine from its MRO facility in Maryville, Tennessee. The AE common core family includes the AE 2100 turboprop, AE 3007 turbofan and AE 1107 turboshaft, and StandardAero is an Rolls-Royce Authorised Maintenance Center for all three powerplants.

Since inducting its first AE 3007 turbofan in 1997, the Maryville facility has to date processed over 6,500 engines. The AE 3007 powers the Embraer ERJ regional jet family (AE 3007A), the Cessna Citation X business jet (AE 3007C), the Northrop Grumman RQ/MQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system (UAS) (AE 3007H) and the Boeing MQ-25 Stingray UAS (AE 3007N).

StandardAero is proud of its close relationship with Rolls-Royce on the AE family of engines, and honoured to be the support provider of choice for operators around the globe,” says Greg Krekeler, vice president and general manager of the Maryville facility. “The team here at Maryville understands that military, commercial and corporate operators worldwide rely on us to deliver responsive, reliable support, and our team of 275 skilled professionals set the standard of excellence day in and day out.”

The 154,000sq ft facility also supports a wide range of auxiliary power units, including the Honeywell GTCP 36-100/150 and RE220, the Pratt & Whitney Canada APS 2300 and the Safran Power Units SPU300.
