Metrojet appoints chief operating officer
Former managing director, MRO David Yip will oversee Metrojet's aircraft management and charter division, its Hong Kong SAR MRO and Philippine Metrojet Engineering Clark maintenance facilities.

Hong Kong-based business jet operator and MRO provider Metrojet has promoted Dave Yip, previously managing director, MRO to COO. Yip will oversee all of Metrojet's business units, including its aircraft management and charter division, and its Hong Kong SAR MRO and Philippine Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) maintenance facilities.

Yip brings over 25 years of extensive management experience in both business and commercial aviation including his tenure as COO of Hongkong Jet, overseeing all aircraft management and maintenance functions. His broad business aviation experience coupled with his significant market knowledge will assist in the profitable growth and expansion efforts of our business.

CEO Gary Dolski and the management board welcome him to his new position, and Yip says: “The new organisation structure planned by Gary in our three year corporate plan brings the management and maintenance units together and enhances the business synergies within. The Metrojet team will maintain a coordinated effort and continue delivering our best to the customers.”
