Wierieszczinskaja steps on board as DCAF commercial head
Lija Wierieszczinskaja's experience combines a deep understanding of aircraft management and private aviation operations with a strong focus on customer experience and long-term client relationships.
Lija Wierieszczinskaja will strengthen the DCAF leadership team.

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a business aviation services provider in the Middle East, has appointed Lija Wierieszczinskaja as its new commercial head to strengthen its senior leadership team, as it continues to grow its aircraft management, charter, maintenance and VIP handling activities.

Wierieszczinskaja brings broad experience spanning business aviation, aircraft management, luxury services, client experience and business development. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions within the private aviation sector, working with aircraft owners and high-net-worth clients while developing businesses and service propositions tailored to the highly specialised requirements of the luxury and private aviation markets.

Her experience combines a deep understanding of aircraft management and private aviation operations with a strong focus on customer experience and long-term client relationships.

“We are delighted to welcome Lija to DC Aviation Al-Futtaim,” comments Holger Ostheimer, managing director of DC Aviation Al-Futtaim. “Her deep experience in business aviation and strong understanding of the discerning expectations of VIP end-users and aircraft owners add value to our clients and partners alike. As we continue to expand our services and strengthen our position in the regional and international business aviation market, Lija will play an important role in driving our commercial strategy and further enhancing the relationships we build with our diverse stakeholder groups.”

Wierieszczinskaja adds: “I look forward to working with the DCAF team to further strengthen our commercial relationships and create new opportunities for growth across our aircraft management, charter, maintenance and VIP handling businesses.”

The appointment comes as DCAF continues to enhance its capabilities in response to growing demand for premium business aviation services in the Middle East.

Most recently, the company expanded its charter fleet with the addition of an ultra-luxury Airbus ACJ318 Elite+, further strengthening its ability to serve the growing market for long-range private travel. DCAF has also continued to enhance its technical capabilities, including securing San Marino CAR-145 approval for its maintenance operations.

Based at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai South, DCAF is a joint venture between Germany's DC Aviation and UAE-based Al-Futtaim. The company provides a comprehensive range of business aviation services, including aircraft management, executive charter, aircraft maintenance, FBO and ground handling services, hangarage and aviation consultancy.
