From now on the general aviation services provided by Flughafen Wien, the operator of Vienna airport in Austria, will be presented under the brand name of Vienna Airport FBO. Previously known as Vienna Aircraft Handling to represent a focus entirely on aircraft handling, the new name highlights its broader range of services.

"Our customers receive all FBO services from a single source and appreciate the particularly high quality and simple processing," say the two managing directors Michael Zach and Christoph Schmidt.

Zach continues: "We offer everything from high-quality passenger handling and lounges to office and hangar rental and aircraft refuelling. And in doing so, together with our partners, we are pleased to have sustainable aviation fuel available to help reduce the carbon footprint of business aviation."

"As a subsidiary of Flughafen Wien, we have also been running our entire operations completely CO²-neutral since the beginning of 2023," adds Schmidt. "And our conversion to a modern and comfortable e-vehicle fleet, which we can charge with solar power from the airport's own PV plant, the largest in Austria, is in full swing."

The company name change is accompanied by a new logo, that is now clearly aligned with the appearance of the Flughafen Wien Group. "In this way, we are placing our affiliation with the parent company and our extensive expertise at the centre of our brand," they say.

All address and contact details, however, remain unchanged to ensure easy and continuous accessibility. Only the FBO's website has changed.
