Maven by Midfield unveils Oakland County hangar
The new 28,500sq ft hangar in Waterford brings Maven’s total hangar storage capacity to over 102,000sq ft.

Maven by Midfield FBO (Maven) has opened its hangar at the Oakland County airport in Waterford, Michigan.

Key features include an expansive 28,500sq ft of floor space, providing ample room for aircraft storage, maintenance and operations, with six offices totalling more than 1,200sq ft of leasable office space. The hangar is equipped with 28ft, heated, bottom-rolling hangar doors, ensuring smooth and efficient access for aircraft of varying sizes even in Michigan’s icy winter conditions. A non-foam fire suppression system has been installed throughout to provide rapid response in case of emergencies, and there are perfectly spaced 480V outlets catering to the power needs of aircraft, tools and equipment. This robust electrical infrastructure ensures seamless operations and efficient maintenance processes.

The hangar is situated on a spacious 7.5 acre apron/ramp area, providing ample room for aircraft manoeuvring, parking and loading. Direct customs ramp access ensures seamless international operations for clients. It brings Maven’s total hangar storage capacity to over 102,000sq ft.
