Sayap Garuda Indah to side with Kopter
Heli SGI is an Indonesian-based and incorporated company whose primary activity is the provision of rotary and fixed wing aviation services to the mining, tourism and corporate VIP sectors.
The AW09 is expected to more than meet the needs of Heli SGI.

Indonesian operator Heli SGI (Sayap Garuda Indah) is to start a collaboration with Kopter and Helitech Asia, the recently appointed Leonardo AW09 distributor in southeast Asia.

The company intends to introduce the latest generation AW09 single engine helicopter to its rotorcraft operations in the framework of its fleet replacement and modernisation strategy.

Heli SGI is an Indonesian-based and incorporated company whose primary activity is the provision of rotary and fixed wing aviation services to the mining, tourism and corporate VIP sectors. Currently it operates an exclusively Bell helicopter fleet.

Emilio Dalmasso, in charge of new products at Leonardo Helicopters, declared at the occasion: “We would be very pleased to welcome Heli SGI within the AW09 customer community. We are convinced that our next generation helicopter will suitably meet its new requirements for all the missions it performs on a daily basis.”
