FTO Padova has purchased an en-1000x FNPT II from Spanish flight simulator developer entrol. The device has just been installed in the Italian flight school's main base in Padova, Italy.

This simulator is equipped with the MEP G1000 flight model based on the Piper PA-34 and entrol's newest SEP G1000 flight model based on the Cessna 172. It also features a cylindrical visual with a FOV of 200o x 40o, iPad with remote IOS control and ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot Integration and two uninterrupted power supply (UPS).

“We are grateful to sell another unit of our en-1000x FNPT II simulator in Italy. This model has proven to be a vital tool in the initial training of future pilots,” states Juanjo Lechosa, business manager at entrol.

“We're really happy to announce this new FNPT II is available in Padova airport for the professional training of our cadets on the ATPL Platinum exclusive training programme; the G1000 avionics is perfect for the transition to the real cockpit, and our students will appreciate the quality of the new simulator and realistic interaction,” comments Federico Conforto, CEO of FTO Padova.

The academy's fleet now includes seven single engine aircraft, two multi-engine Tecnam P2006T and the brand new entrol En-1000x.
