Bluetail achieves SOC 2 compliance for records management
Its Fortune 500 company customers demand the highest level of security for their aircraft records, and SOC 2 certification shows Bluetail has thoroughly reviewed criteria for managing customer data.

Digital aircraft records management company Bluetail has achieved SOC 2 Type I compliance in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards. This unqualified opinion on a SOC 2 Type I audit report demonstrates to Bluetail's current and future customers that it manages their data with the highest standard of security and compliance.

“We recognise the vital role security plays in our success. Our impressive customer portfolio of Fortune 500 companies demands the highest level of security for their aircraft records, and we continue to widen the gap in our security leadership, establishing a significant advantage over our competitors. Our team constantly evaluates potential risks and remains up-to-date with industry standards in order to guarantee the utmost level of protection,” says VP of engineering and delivery Greg Baynham.

Bluetail was audited by Prescient Assurance, a leader in security and compliance attestation for B2B, SAAS companies worldwide. Prescient Assurance is a registered public accounting in the US and Canada and provides risk management and assurance services, which include but is not limited to SOC2, PCI, ISO, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and CSA STAR.

SOC 2 certification indicates that a third-party has thoroughly reviewed criteria for managing customer data based on security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.
